Therapy is a boundless place to explore and expand how we see and understand ourselves. My name is Sarah (they/them) and I am currently a pre-licensed psychotherapist with a Masters degree from NYU for Counseling and Mental Health and Wellness. I have sought and found so much personal growth through my own therapy and I recognize the strength in having someone there, to bear witness to both the joys and sorrows that are part of living. I want to help you navigate life’s challenges with an open mind and heart and nurture your own resilience.
My work is relational by nature. I see therapy as a collaborative process that recognizes you are the expert in yourself. I believe so often when we are struggling with something, our focus narrows and it helps to have someone there who is curious and can help us to widen our gaze. I value compassion and curiosity and practice working from a non-pathologizing framework. It is important to me that together we build a space that is safe and understanding. I specialize in working within the 2SLGBTQI+ community and am sex/kink positive, support body neutrality and am knowledgeable and affirming of non-monogamous relationships.
If this resonates with you, or sparks your curiosity, I would love to hear from you. I invite you to reach out and schedule a free consultation call where we can explore if we are a good fit.
